An introduction
This is the very first entry of this site, so what to expect? This is my digital workshop, I’ll post about anything of interest to me, show my work (be it analog or digital) and maybe make some friends along the way!
Who am I?
I’m a freshly 40 nerd. I spend my time doing mostly 2 things: making video games as a digital artist by day, or making scenery and painting miniatures. English is not my first language, but I’ll do my best. I play video games since forever, and paint little Warhammer models since I’m around 10. That was indeed 30 years ago. From the get go, two things were clear: I couldn’t just assemble the miniatures as expected by the designers, and making terrain had a huge appeal to me. My first terrain piece, that I’ll try to show someday, was a recreation of a dolmen with a skeleton crucified on top, that I saw in a old White Dwarf. My first skeletons where also cut to pieces and repositioned, what we’ll call conversions today. I also had a hard time painting anything, and I completed no army during that time period, bust started and abandoned many projects.
The main goal right now is to share my terrain stuff and show how to do it, through tutorials. I share a lot of my stuff on Reddit, but I’d like to have somewhere to call home to share all of it.
